Many believe that man is free to choose salvation. R.C. Sproul argues from Scripture that man’s will is in bondage to sin until God gives him a new heart.\n

He also examines the positions of prominent theologians from church history including Augustine, Pelagius, Martin Luther, Jacobus Arminius, and Charles Finney, and demonstrates that many assumptions about free will undermine the gospel and conceal God’s glory in salvation.\n
